The AFI DALLAS Film Festival returns for its second year in 2008. The festival will feature international films from emerging filmmakers, the latest work from great film masters and our unique nightly red carpet gala premieres which include all of our attending filmmakers and stars. Spanning 10 days and nights, our presentation of more than 200 screenings make it one of the largest film festivals in the Southwest.
AFI DALLAS 2008 runs March 27 – April 6, 2008. Tickets will be available at www.AFIDALLAS.com beginning March 7, 2008 or in person at the AFI DALLAS box office.
AFI DALLAS presents an international competition of features, documentaries and shorts, as well as world cinema showcases. In addition, our filmmaker awards are highlighted once again by Presenting Sponsor Target and their Target Filmmaker Awards, offering $25,000 cash grants to the winning filmmaker in the Best Narrative Feature and Best International Documentary categories.
